About Us

A Wealth of Experience

Although Cree Lake Lodge is under new ownership,
its proponents are not new to Saskatchewan's
angling scene.

Their commitment to providing simply the best
wilderness fishing experience for guests, coupled
with a vast knowledge of the angling and the
outdoors, and a wealth of experience in the
industry, is the foundation around
which Cree Lake Lodge and its sister,
MacIntyre Lake Lodge have been built.

Gerry Bolger

Gerry Bolger, owner/operator of Cree Lake Lodge has spent decades in Saskatchewan's north. He is a commercial pilot, with over twenty-five years of experience in the tourism industry. Gerry has built and operated, as well as managed a number of lodges in Saskatchewan, giving him a valuable insight into what visitors to the far north need, expect and deserve.

Having fished and visited lodges on a number of Northern Saskatchewan's lakes, Gerry was consistently drawn back to the Cree Lake area. Eventually, he built a private cabin on MacIntyre Lake, bordering Cree Lake to the southwest, and quickly recognized the untapped angling potential of this remote body of water. As a result, MacIntyre Lake Lodge was born. Built from the "ground up", MacIntyre Lake Lodge quickly gained notoriety as a premiere trophy angling destination, and its first two seasons of operation were a huge success.

Wanting to offer his clientele even more high quality angling options, Gerry purchased Cree Lake Lodge, as soon as the opportunity arose. Now, with access to the vibrant Northern Pike, Lake Trout, Walleye, and Arctic Grayling population swimming within the waters of this world-famous fishery, Cree Lake Lodge visitors can be assured of simply, "the angling experience of a lifetime."

"At Cree Lake Lodge, the emphasis will be to offer a complete wilderness fishing experience to our guests", states Gerry. "We want them to have the best fishing we can offer in an intimate, comfortable setting. We want them to feel at home."
